      <image:title>Recipes - High Protein Breakfast Ideas - Breakfasts tend to be a meal people either skip entirely or run out of ideas with. My biggest piece of advice when it comes to breakfasts is to stop trying to reinvent the wheel! Sometimes, we don’t need to completely change the overall foundation of the meal (the omelette, the eggs, the porridge for example…), but rather the ingredients, the way it’s cooked, the toppings etc - for example porridge with apple and cinammon is a great high protein and high volume filling way to start the day! When you get bored of that eventually, you can change the ingredients - porridge with yoghurt and granola - completely different consistency, taste and texture. DOMS is completely normal and though it can be very uncomfortable and debilitating, it does improve - you just have to keep sticking at working out and getting your body used to these new movements - until it requires less effort and less muscle fibres to activate the muscles - causing adaptation. Even years into your fitness journey you might still occasionally get DOMS, if you've had a particularly intense workout or you’ve maybe performed different movements, done more dropsets, or reps etc. But your body becomes more resillient to the feeling and it is never as bad as that first week.
